Oma Baatbyggeri AS, in Stord, delivered its new build number 549 M/S «Trym» to Norled AS on Wednesday 21 June 2023. Oma Baatbyggeri AS and Norled AS signed the contract for two 30-meter cargo/passenger catamarans in January 2022. The sister ship M/S «Frey» was delivered to Norled AS in January 2023.

Boreal and Oma Baatbyggeri have today signed an agreement for the construction of a new electrically operated ferry.
